Ryne and Penny

Ryne got to "hold" his cousin Penny the other day.  Ryne loves hanging out with his new cousin and always wants to touch and poke her.  He smiles whenever he sees her.  You can check out more pictures on Josh and Emily's blog (link to the right).

Ryne's First Snow Day!

Yesterday we had over 12 inches of snow so I (Kyle) worked from home.  We thought it would be a good opportunity to expose Ryne to snow for the first time.  It had been a boring, cold winter with practically no snow, so we had a fun time and Ryne really enjoyed just looking out the patio door at all the crazy white stuff.  Here are some fun pictures.  More can be seen in the January web album.

Serious Crawling at 8 months

In just the past few days Ryne has graduated from his "head crawling" to a very solid crawl.  No longer can we turn our back on him for even a second.  We are very surprised at how quickly he gets across the room now.  If you listen closely you can hear him taunting his female cousins to try to keep up with him!  Good luck with that Ellie, Addison, and Penny!

Head Crawling

Life won't be the same from here on out. Ryne has started "head crawling" as of a few weeks ago. We took these videos around New Years and are just now getting to posting them. He does think his head is a 3rd arm right now, but I am sure it is only a matter of time before he is across the room in a couple of seconds.

Penelope Grace
